Before we reveal our new window, we wanted to look back on the charming beauty of @madeauxhome featuring designs from the new Flower Room collection, Richard Smith came from the UK to create “Chapeaux Madeaux,” hat shop inside the @danddbuilding. The hats made from Madeaux designs were inspired by the artistry of Philip Treacy. Step inside JR NY Suite 1800 to explore the full collection and pick up a samples. 💗

Galerie des Lampes ‘Balbec Hanging Lamp’ from @iatestastudio Parisian Collection. The design revisits an era of luxury, cultural expansion, and prosperity during France’s Gilded Age. This era was recounted often in the works of Marcel Proust with Balbec as the setting, a fictitious seaside resort in Northern France, inspired by the real-life seaside resort “Le Grand Hotel”, in Cobourg, France, with its old-world details and opulent architecture and interiors.

This collection takes its name, Balbec, as it was designed for installation at @maisonproustofficial, a fine boutique hotel in Paris featuring all things Proust. This elegant lighting collection incorporates design elements and ornamentation reminiscent of that era. Finely detailed brass filigree and repousse, hand-pleated fabric, and silken fringe are shown on the various ceiling and wall lights. Discover more GDL inside JR NY, CH, & FL
