To celebrate the enduring beauty of @madeauxhome and their latest Flower Room collection, we invited them to design a hat shop inside our @danddbuilding window. Richard Smith titled the shop “Chapeaux Madeaux,” with hats inspired by the artistry of Philip Treacy. Step inside the iconic NY building to view a collection of fabric and wallpaper covered hats and boxes. 👒 🎩

For @madeauxhome, the Flower Room collection, designed by Richard Smith reimagined this serene space, bringing its beauty and charm to life. To celebrate this collection, we invited Madeaux to design a hat shop inside our @danddbuilding Window. Richard Smith titled the shop “Chapeaux Madeaux,” with hats inspired by the artistry of Philip Treacy. Stop by our window hat shop to discover a delightful array of fabric and wallpaper-dressed hats and boxes. Her namesake fabric and wallpaper collection is hand-screened, with fabrics printed on Belgian linen. Drawing inspiration from nature, museum visits abroad, Japanese woodblock prints, stylized botanicals, and classical European design, the collection blends traditional motifs with a modern, graphic twist. The result is decorative and sophisticated yet playful and unexpected, featuring clear, saturated hues including corals, blues, greens, periwinkles, and pinks combined in inventive and sometimes surprising ways.
